1740s part of Flitcroft’s remodelling of the Best Stair G13. F11a/d2 door case by Flitcroft with assumed cupboard door matching F11a/d1 adjacent.

20C removal of door and replacement as mirror lined display recess .

What's to do

Reuse of mahogany door from Inner Landing F11b/d1 to reform cupboard F11a/d2 in place of shelving recess. The work recovers the original scheme, and accommodates one of the mahogany doors installed by Cowtan.
